May.

3. Why are you wishing to run for the South Carolina Leather
boy/girl title?
I want to support the
contest itself and the Leather community in my state. I love outreach to other
parts of our community. Love to meet new people and share my love of Leather
with them, and this contest just felt like the best thing to do at this point
in my journey.
4. If you win the title of South Carolina Leather boy/girl,
what would your goals be for your title year?
To bust some of the
misconceptions people have about the Leather community and to show people that
leatherfolk are not the stuffy elitists that we have the reputation of being. I
want people to know that the Leather community is accessible to them. If it is
in your heart, you can walk this path regardless of whether you "fit the
mold".____
5. What is your greatest strength and how would that
strength benefit you as the South Carolina Leather boy/girl titleholder?
I am a people person,
friendly, outgoing, and approachable. It makes traveling to new areas and
groups easier and makes me a more approachable and memorable ambassador.
6. What challenges do you think you might face as the South
Carolina Leather boy/girl titleholder?
I think that I will
face the same challenges that every titleholder has - money, and time. Thankfully,
I have the love and support of my local community who have offered fundraisers
to help with the first and soon will have a more flexible work schedule to help
with the second._________________
7. How do you think it will impact you if you are not chosen
to be the next South Carolina Leather boy/girl title holder?
I think that the
entire experience of preparing and running for this title has already impacted
me more than words can say. Whether or not I leave as the ne SC Leather girl, I
will have won something.

share with the judges.
I am a Leather girl. I
am a leader, a community member and a representative. I will continue n mu path
of outreach and education whether I have the privilege of being

I have been involved in the SC Leather
Community since 2005.

I am currently a member of T3WD. I held the
Member at Large office there for 2 years.
3. Why are you wishing to run for the
South Carolina Leather
boy/girl title?
I wish to run for the title of SC Leather
boi because I enjoy title holding and I enjoy being a boi. I want to be able to
take the title to all parts of SC and offer classes and workshops.
4. If you win the title of
South Carolina Leather
boy/girl, what would your goals be for your title year?
If I win the title, my goal would be to hit
each region of the state at least once and to meet as many people as I can and
promote the SC Leather Contest. I would like to promote understanding between
the generations and between the different sects of the community.
5. What is your greatest strength and how
would that strength benefit you as the
South
Carolina Leather boy/girl titleholder?
My greatest strength is my love of teaching.
I think this will benefit me as the SC Leather boi because it will help me
reach more groups with my classes.
6. What challenges do you think you might
face as the
South Carolina
Leather boy/girl titleholder?
My biggest challenge would be finding a
place within the gay male culture, its hard to be accepted when you are still
biologically a female.
7. How do you think it will impact you if
you are not chosen to be the next
South
Carolina Leather boy/girl title holder?
Not being chosen simply means I will
continue to support the SC leather community from the background.

I attended my first
event over 2 years ago, privately. I had my first D/s relationship over 16
years ago.

wishing to run for the Mr./Ms.

Carolina Leather title?
I believe I would make
a great ambassador for the community. Education and helping others is something
I have done all my life and I wish to transfer those skills to the world of
BDSM.___

Leather, what would your goals be for your title year?
I would like to dispel
the myth that our lifestyle is all about abuse, beating the crap out of each
other. I love working with vanillas & newbies, making them feel
comfortable, accepted, and hopefully a little enlightened.
5. What is your
greatest strength and how would that strength benefit you as the Mr./Ms.
South Carolina Leather
title holder?
Communication. I am
able to relate to others on many different levels, communicating effectively no
matter where they are coming from. They call me the feather smoother at work.
6. What challenges do
you think you might face as the Mr./Ms.
South
Carolina Leather title holder?
Scheduling, due to the
plethora of wonderful events out there.
7. How do you think
it will impact you if you are not chosen to be the next Mr./Ms.
South Carolina Leather
title holder?
The only real impact
is that I would be welcoming & educating on a much smaller scale. My only
regrets would be not being able to reach more people.

I enjoy exploring the
relationships between pain, pleasure, service, and fulfillment within others
and myself. I feel I have been taking steps in the lifestyle but need to make a
giant leap. This title would enable me to do so & share my knowledge &
experience with many others.

I've been involved in
a Leather community here is SC for about the past year, but have been involved
in a Leather community in the Houston area before moving back here to SC from
Texas in 2009.

At this point I'm not
affiliated with any clubs here in SC, but, have applied to become a member of
the TRG of
Columbia..

wishing to run for the Mr./Ms.
South
Carolina Leather title?
I am running for
Mr.
SC
Leather because I'd like to be a representative of my home state and my Leather
family. To also help out the community in any way that I can.

title of Mr./Ms. South

Leather, what would your goals be for your title year?
My
goals for the year would be to represent the Leather Communityand the state of
Southh Carolinawith the best of my ability, to work to bring together not just
the Leather Community here in
Columbia
but to bring together the whole state.

greatest strength and how would that strength benefit you as the Mr./Ms.
South Carolina Leather
title holder?
My
greatest strenght would be my ability to work with others to arrive at the best
solution to resolve a problem or to devise the best way to use all aspects and
ideas to work out a project or event.
6. What challenges do
you think you might face as the Mr./Ms.
South
Carolina Leather title holder?
Challenges
that I might face as Mr. SC Leather, honestly I can't think of anything other
than being able to travel around the state as their representative as much as
I'd like to do during my title year.
7. How do you think
it will impact you if you are not chosen to be the next Mr./Ms.
South Carolina Leather
title holder?
It will only help me
out with that I need to improve for my future in the Leather community.

I've
been involved with several groups/organizations in the
Houston area; one as a founding member of The
Imperial Court of Houston. I also worked closely with other groups such as the
