Mission and Purpose

The South Carolina Leather Contest, (aka, The SC Leather Contest or The SCLC), is a non-profit organization. Founded in 2009, its purpose is to promote understanding, support and unity within the diverse South Carolina Leather community.

The SC Leather Contest offers an opportunity for South Carolina men and women to work towards this goal through community service, outreach and education.

The SC Leather Contest believes in equality regardless of race, religion, national origin, physical impairment, age, sex and/or sexual orientation or identification, within the requirements of The SC Leather Contest rules.

The South Carolina Leather titles (Mr./Ms./boy/boi/Master/ slave/Bootblack), are community service-based, image titles.

The goal of this contest is to give contest winners an opportunity to know our South Carolina Leather community, identify current and/or potential needs and to set goals for helping fulfill those needs throughout their title year.

The SC Leather Contest winners shall strive to be highly visible and make their title year one that will benefit the South Carolina Leather community
